Today, we're opening Webivus AI to public beta.

Webivus is a chat-based AI assistant for WordPress. You connect your site once, and from then on you manage it through a conversation — plugins, content, SEO, audits, error monitoring, troubleshooting. One place, plain English, no tab-switching.

Most AI tools in the WordPress space are built for Day 1 — generating new sites from scratch. Webivus is built for Day 247 — managing the site you already have. (More on that thesis in an upcoming post.)

Webivus reads your site, runs the work, and reports back. Anything destructive — installs, deletes, theme switches, database changes — requires explicit confirmation before it runs. You stay in control the entire time.

What's inside the public beta

• Automatic site audits. Connect a site and get a seven-category audit immediately — security, performance, SEO, accessibility, plugin health, content, and WooCommerce. Every finding includes an "Ask AI about this report" button that passes the audit context straight to the agent, so you can dig deeper without re-explaining anything.
• Real-time fatal error monitoring. Breakages hit your dashboard the moment they happen. You see them before your visitors do.
• WooCommerce update safety. Before any WooCommerce core update, Webivus inspects your theme's template overrides and blocks updates that would break checkout, cart, or account pages — the most common reason WooCommerce sites go down during routine updates.
• Bulk plugin updates with one confirmation. Update ten plugins with one prompt instead of ten clicks.
• Smarter site monitoring. If a site goes offline, Webivus stops retrying, emails you, and reconnects automatically once it's back.
• Built-in web search. When the agent needs current information — recent CVEs, plugin compatibility, third-party documentation — it searches the web inline.

Behind the scenes, Webivus runs on a team of specialized agents — an Admin agent for site operations, an SEO agent for search and content, and a Q&A agent for explanations. We'll have a deeper post on the multi-agent architecture in the coming weeks.

Built with safety in mind

We never ask for your WordPress username or password. Ever. Connection is token-based through a one-click plugin install. Your admin credentials never enter Webivus — they aren't requested, transmitted, or stored. If you ever want to disconnect, uninstall the plugin and the connection is severed.

Webivus is also code-safe by default. When the agent makes a change to your site, it follows a strict order of preference — CSS first, then plugins, child theme only as a last resort. We don't touch core WordPress files or parent themes. Your ability to update WordPress and your theme cleanly is preserved.

How to redeem:

What "public beta" means

A few advanced flows are still being refined and are clearly labeled in the UI. When something breaks, we fix it fast — the changelog updates with every release.
