Through a secure plugin connection and natural language interface, users can perform tasks such as troubleshooting errors, optimizing performance, monitoring site health, and rolling back recent changes. Unlike traditional management tools, Webivus AI does not collect or store plugin code, theme code, or sensitive customer content. It only processes essential data like the website URL, user email, JWT token encrypted, chat history, logs, and AI-generated code relevant to requested actions. Webivus AI provides site insights, rollback functionality, and AI-driven guidance — saving users time and reducing reliance on expensive developers.

Payment Data. Social Media Login Data. We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Facebook, X, or other social media account. As part of our Services, we offer products, features, or tools powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning, or similar technologies (collectively, 'AI Products'). These tools are designed to enhance your experience and provide you with innovative solutions.

Use of AI Technologies. We provide the AI Products through third-party service providers ('AI Service Providers'), including OpenAI. As outlined in this Privacy Notice, your input, output, and personal information will be shared with and processed by these AI Service Providers.

How to Opt Out. We believe in giving you the power to decide how your data is used. To opt out, you can log in to your account settings and update your user account or contact us.

7. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

In Short: If you choose to register or log in to our Services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Facebook or X logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this Privacy Notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services.

Our servers are located in India, United States and Singapore. Regardless of your location, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us in our facilities and in the facilities of the third parties with whom we may share your personal information.

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than twenty four (24) months past the start of the idle period of the user's account.

10. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

11. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age or the equivalent age as specified by law in your jurisdiction, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information.

12. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; (iv) if applicable, to data portability; and (v) not to be subject to automated decision-making.

If you are located in the EEA or UK and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your Member State data protection authority or UK data protection authority.

13. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

In Short: If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have specific rights.

You may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you and how we have processed it, correct inaccuracies, get a copy of, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information.

California 'Shine The Light' Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the 'Shine The Light' law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

15. DO OTHER REGIONS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: You may have additional rights based on the country you reside in.

Australia and New Zealand: We collect and process your personal information under the obligations and conditions set by Australia's Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

Republic of South Africa: You have the right to request access to or correction of your personal information.

16. AI DISCLAIMER CLAUSE

Webivus AI uses artificial intelligence to provide recommendations, suggestions, and automated actions. AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate, complete, lawful, or compliant with industry standards. These outputs are provided for informational and assistive purposes only and must not be relied upon as professional advice. You remain solely responsible for reviewing, approving, and implementing any AI-generated content or actions before applying them to your website or business operations. Webivus AI disclaims all liability for errors, omissions, or damages resulting from reliance on AI outputs.

17. TRAINING & DATA USE POLICY

Webivus AI may use your interaction data (including chat history, action logs, and support feedback) to improve and train its AI models, enhance system performance, and develop new features. By creating an account and using our services, you acknowledge and agree that your data may be used for these purposes by default. You retain full control over this process: You may opt out at any time through the settings page of your Webivus AI dashboard or by contacting us at [email protected]. If you opt out, your personal data and website content will not be used for AI training or model improvement. Regardless of your choice, Webivus AI may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you for research, analytics, and service improvements. Webivus AI will not use sensitive personal data (such as payment details or user account passwords) for AI training under any circumstances.

18. BREACH RESPONSE

Data Breach Notification: In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights or freedoms, Webivus AI will notify affected users without undue delay and, where required by applicable law, notify relevant supervisory authorities within the legally mandated timeframe (e.g., 72 hours under the GDPR). Notifications will include the nature of the breach, the data affected, measures taken, and recommendations for protecting yourself.

19. DATA RETENTION

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and improve our AI models:

  • Account Data (email, login credentials, site connection info): Retained until your account is deleted.
  • Chat History and Action Logs: Retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting, rollback, product improvement, and AI training.
  • Security and Access Logs: Retained for 30 days unless required longer for investigation.
  • Payment and Billing Records: Retained for 7 years or as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
  • AI Training: By default, Webivus AI may use your interaction data (such as chat history and action logs) to improve and train its AI models. You may opt out of AI training at any time through your dashboard settings or by contacting [email protected]. Regardless of your choice, Webivus AI may continue to use aggregated, anonymized data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
  • Backups: Webivus AI does not provide or maintain full website backups. You are solely responsible for maintaining complete and up-to-date backups of your WordPress website.

20. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Webivus AI does not knowingly collect or process personal data from children under the age of 16 in the European Union/United Kingdom or under the age of 13 in the United States. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it without undue delay. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
